The following is the basic equipment needed for the new bowler.
Its total cost could be as much as £250 but there is ample second hand equipment  around.

• A pair of bowling shoes
• A set of Bowls with club stickers
• A white shirt or blouse
• Both white and grey bottoms
• A waterproof jacket and trousers.
• A terry measure and chalk.
